Disabled People vs COVID-19.

A laptop, coffee mug, and stack of books, in a monotone blue and white filter.
The Greater Manchester Mayor’s Disabled People’s Panel has created a survey to find out what issues disabled people face during the COVID-19/Coronavirus Pandemic and will use this to inform regional services how to meet those support needs.

Although this is focussed on Greater Manchester, the panel is very keen to receive responses from disabled people across the country in order to gather as much intelligence and evidence to influence service redesign and delivery here and elsewhere in the UK. Please complete the survey and please share loudly and widely in your own networks! The deadline is 11th May 2020.

I’ve already contributed, allowing the fact that I have had no support from national or local government to be recorded, and I would encourage you to contribute to. Maybe you’ve had support but it’s been underwhelming, or maybe you’ve had a great experience; the more responses they get, the stronger the evidence for social reform will be!
